Activity:           ADA Sports Competition - OPEN ATTACHMENT FOR PERMISSION FORM

When:             Saturday, March 9, 2024

Dress:             Civilian Attire

                        *Indoor sports

*All must bring ball caps and parade boots

Drop off:         0630 (6:30 am)

                        *Park and Ride, Exit 299, Queen St./Brock Rd. S.

                        (The carpool lot at Highway 6 and the 401)

Pick up:           1725 (5:25 pm)

                        *Same as drop off.

Food:               *Lunch is provided

                        *Must bring refillable water bottle

                        *Snacks allowed, but no products containing nuts

Notes:             **MUST BRING HEALTH CARD

                       **MUST BRING PERMISSION FORM (signed by your parent/guardian)

                        *We suggest you bring a small gym bag or back pack that you can carry between events and keep with you.

                        *If you bring money, electronics, or any other valuable items you do so at your own risk.

Activity:           Canadian Armed Forces Engagement Day

                        *Wear your Parka’s

*For safety reasons on this trip, hair must secured in place, no loose or dangling clothing or jewelry.

Drop off:         1115 (11:15 am)

Pick up:           1700 (5:00pm)

Location:         Guelph Armoury

                        7 Wyndham St, Guelph, ON

Transportation:          School Bus to Hamilton

Food:               Lunch is not being provided so please eat before coming. Light snacks are ok on the bus, but no products containing nuts, and water bottles with lids only.

***You must have your Health Card and permission form with you in order to get on the bus.

Activity:           Seamanship Training Day

When:             Saturday, December 9, 2023

Dress:             C5 (STU)

Drop off:         0845 at the Ship

Pick up:           1700 at the Ship

Lunch:             Lunch is provided, but you are welcome to bring some snacks, refillable water bottle with water, etc. (**reminder – this is a nut free building)

KIT LIST:

Note: you must have the following items with you.

  • Health Card (must be the physical card, no photocopies)
  • Re-fillable water bottle
  • C5 (STU) Uniform (wearing):
    • Boots, wool socks, pants, belt, black t-shirt, blue dress shirt, ball cap
    • Cadet issued parka (bring inner and outer)

*Please note that it may be cool/rainy on this weekend, but we can stay inside in the event of bad weather.

Halifax is calling......

We have been offered a fantastic opportunity to take 11 cadets to Halifax along with RCSCC Dundas (host corps) during March Break 2024 (9-14 MAR).

Immediate details:

-flying out on March 9th and returning March 14th

-open to any cadets at any level

-Details of the itinerary to follow

-I must have commitment and a deposit by Thursday of this week. This will go toward your total cost of the trip. I understand this is short notice however this is because their final deadline to commit to the trip is pending and they had spots that couldn't be filled and they asked us to join them.

-I will be available to parents for questions on Wednesday evening at 2030hrs (8:30pm) at the Ship and to receive any deposits.

-This is a fantastic opportunity and I fully expect it will be an excellent trip!
